Winter in the Hamptons ( i mean, Clemson?)

Nothing like getting awaken by a phone call by your boss. Stating that you are not allow to come into work because there is three inches of snow on the ground. Being from the New England area, I found this statement quite funny and went back to bed. Once I closed my eyes, I received a text from Claire, "It's Snowing". Funny southern people.
So now, I have the day off. Meaning I need to explain to all the southern folk, how to handle a snow day. So I am going to break it down in a few easy steps:

1. First and foremost, you supposed to be lazy ( i mean, it is a day off): your not allow to be productive. Pretty much look at it as God stopping the world for you to take a little breather and you embracing that.

2. You must drink something warm: I prefer the Hot Chocolate. Some people like tea to switch it up form there typical coffee in the morning. If so, try some waffles with it.

3. Make sure you get a nap in, sometime within the day. Napping is a vital part of the snow day. Since you are following rule number 1 (being lazy), part of being lazy is sleeping. So sleep.

4. For at least thirty minutes within your day, you need to watch the news. Not sure, why this is a rule. However, it is funny to watch the "Live Action Coverage" of the Blizzard of 07. For some odd reason they have seven hours of courage of three inches of snow. The arrival of the cure to cancer would be in the news and they'd spend there seven hour news coverage on how Timmy's tow company couldn't get his own truck of a ditch.

5. Finally, is you love the snow. You must go enjoy the weather. Throw a snow ball at your professor or roommate. Make sure, you get there jacket or shirt completely covered in snow. However, i throw out a warning: if you do this to someone, there is a large chance that it make occur back to you but with greater force.

So there you go. I wrote down some simple rules of a typical snow day. I will probably spending my day doing this amazing rules. I think i have already done half of them and it is only 10:30.
