"peace in pa" is a short little film that I made while visiting my family over the holiday season. It had been awhile since I had visited my cousins, aunts and uncles. Almost six years. I figure, I would try to video tape some of the conversations and events that occur over spending a week in New Castle, PA.
To give a better understanding, I did not want to go. The town has a lot of negative memories for me and I had not return because of that reason. However, I return for my grandmothers 90th birthday. "Peace in Pa" was title that was given to me before the idea of making a movie and I thought it was a great title. After watching this short film, I found that some of these moments were peaceful. I hope you enjoy the film.

the 19th of March
I am post a deleted scene from a new short film that I have been working on over Christmas break. This scene is called "the 19th of March", it explains and shows a bit of who I am and my family. It was part of a short film that I am releasing later this month called "Peace In PA". I was going to put it in the film, but it just did not fit the feel of the movie. So I decided to keep it separate from the rest. However, some of the banter between Andrew and I did fit in with the rest of the film. I hope you enjoy it and look forward to the post of the new film called "Peace in PA" which is coming soon.

the O. eight
I stated in December that I would be post some more short films and such in the coming year. I figure, I would start of '08 with something fun. I spent new years in Charletston, Sc with some friends and the gal. We went to an Irish pub and most of the people I went with pretend to be Leprechauns. If you do not believe me, I have footage of them trying to dance, clap and even sing like them. However, my friends failed to remember that dancing in a Irish Pub does not make you a Leprechaun but instead a wannbe Leprechaun. And if you are a "wannbe Leprechaun", that means your just that much closer to be the next back up dancer for the 90's group, "Spice Girls". ( if you do not understand my logic. look up Irish and English folklore about the spice girls and you will understand)
Anyways,
I figure the first post of the year, would be a collection of photos and film from the lovely evening in the south. I hope you all enjoy and look forward to seeing some more short films in the months to come.
